The North is our home, which we cherish in everything we do. The overall responsibility of our operations is a matter of our hearts. We respect the fragility of Lapland's nature and local communities. Along with the enviroment, it is equally important for us to take care of people - both our own staff and our guests.
WE TAKE CARE OF OUR STAFF
For us, competent, committed, motivated, goal-oriented and satisfied personnel are key. We invest in good management and engaging the operating culture. Compliance with laws and regulations are the absolute starting point of our personnel management. The well-bing of the personnel, both at work and their free time, is important to us. We increase the professional competence of our personnel with good orientation and various trainings.
WE TAKE CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS
For us, responsibility for the safety of our customers is the starting point of all activities. It is also important to us that our customers, when using our services, can act responsibly themselves, make responsible decisions. In accommodation services, we use the PRO24.fi safety management system. In addition to self-monitoring, our restaurants are subject to Oiva reporting by the authority.
A BALANCED RELATIONSHIP WITH NATURE
We take care of our enviroment and strive for a balanced relationship with nature by protecting the northern arctic nature. In accommodation operations, we closely monitor energy consuption and have several measures in place to minimize consuption. We use only green electricity in all our hotels and throughout the entire group, which is 100% water, wind and bio energy. In our restaurants, minimizing the amount of food waste is an important part of our enviromental responsibility.
WE APPRECIATE LOCALITY
We have been operating since 1965 - all the time locally. We respect the local culture and population. We are one of the operatrs in the area. We respect locality by, among other things, paying tax revenue to the area where we operate, hiring local people and using local service provders and raw materials.
WE have been granted an ECOCOMPASS CERTIFICATE and belong to the SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL FINLAND PROGRAM.
